Centennial Library Technology Training Session. League Members and Friends, Greeley/Weld League of Women Voters will have its 3rd and last Technology Training session, Saturday, May 30th at Centennial Library, 10 to Noon and then lunch wrap-up from noon to 1:30 pm at Egg and I, just down the road from the library on 23rd. We couldn't get a room at the library for our lunch wrap-up; so we'll just move to the Egg and I. All are welcome to join us, with or without previous experience in our first two sessions. You can bring a laptop or not and we'll have access to the computers in the Computer Lab at Centennial. Jeanne Lipman , Technology Teacher and trainer, will be there to answer and help with any questions about whatever you wish to hone your skills on. We've worked on pictures, email, Facebook, and data bases. It does not matter whether you are an Apple or PC user, new/basic or advanced. Let me know if you can join us! Consensus Meetings in re Behavioral Health. Greeley/Weld League Members, On Thursday, Oct. 1, the Larimer League will have a meeting about Behavioral Health and we are invited to join them. Some of us will be going over to Ft. Collins to this meeting at Pathways Hospice, 305 Carpenter Rd, Fort Collins. This will be a preamble to our Behavioral Health meeting in November when we will discuss the consensus questions for the behavioral health study. Please let me know if you want to join us at the Ft. The League of Women Voters of Greeley-Weld County and the High Plains Library District are co-sponsoring an information forum to explain City of Greeley ballot issues and City Charter updates, as well as the District 6 financing proposal. Representatives from the City of Greeley and from School District 6 will discuss Opting Out of SB152, the Tabor issue regarding "Keep Greeley Moving" road tax, 4 City Charter updates, and the Weld School District 6 Mill Levy Override.
